Gaspard Fleury-Dugy is a designer and visual artist based in Paris. His practice is fueled by textile techniques and the graphic vocabulary they conjure up: loops, stitches, lines...so many signs enabling the writing of a whole language of shapes and colored harmonies.

This practice is developing at the frontiers of art and technical research, constantly pushing back the boundaries of what he can construct from weaving.

His textile production ranges from object design, to interior decoration, as well as the development of textile drawings and models for furniture manufacturers.

For OBRAS, he presents a series of works on paper combining painting and drawing, always connected to his art of weaving. Here, the line replaces the thread and the pen replaces the machine, but the process remains the same: creating shapes and movement from the constraints of a sheet, just as he knows how to breathe shape and movement into his textile works.

In 2023, he was awarded the Sisley Young Artists' Grant, recognizing the promising nature of his work. Since 2022, his work has been exhibited at design week events in Milan, Eindhoven, Stockholm and Paris.
