manifesto

In the abundant and sometimes complex context of contemporary art, the idea of creatingObras was born. A digital space to share our discoveries and our vision of this vast universe, rich with an infinite number of talents.

Obras is above all a perspective, a desire, a curation. The artists we wish to highlight are selected with passion and reflection, as are the works weoffer for each of them. The choice of a digital gallery allows us to share this love of art in a clear and direct way witha wide audience; while offering a global and permanent platform to the artists we love andwant you to discover.Stepping out of the white cube, the physical space, frees the works from the constraints of aplace and a calendar, but it also removes all the inhibitions that the market may have installedover time.Curiosity is the main driver of this project. Each artist has an individual, authentic, andexciting approach to explore, where emotion and desire are shared with collectors.Supporting artists and participating in their development on one hand, and guiding collectorsand contributing to their pleasure of living with art on the other, that is the ambition of Obras.

OBRAS is a common desire born from a solid friendship of over 15 years between threewomen with very diverse backgrounds who come together to found the narrative of this storyin a perfect complementarity of knowledge and experience:
